Platform Nine and Three-Quarters and Jamie Oliver

Over the next few days we also succeeded in going to somewhere I had often dreamed of going. King's Cross station, Platform 9 3/4 the magical place where Harry Potter caught the Hogwarts express.

We also couldn't resist the gift shop.

Our next port of call was Harrods. They must spend thousands every year on their Christmas window displays which were numerous and awesome. The store itself had some amazing looking chocolate, expensive champagne, and many many overpriced objects. The people were extremely snooty too, so we soon took our leave feeling very out of place.

Lastly, we wandered London at night, taking in the beautiful Christmas lights, double-decker buses, and my favourite part -dinner at Jamie Oliver's. The pasta was amazing, the prosecco we splashed out on even better, and dessert was insane. It was also reasonably priced. Definitely worth it.

Dessert, in all its chocolatey glory.
