More villages in the Lot

That afternoon we went to another village which was just as lovely as those before it. We passed a place that did wine tasting so after trying a couple of sips, we bought the nicest bottle of my life, and it was only 6 euro! (Although our usual limit is 3 euro so it was rather exciting)

It was a Sunday so all the towns were dead quiet. Although slightly annoying it also added to the otherworldy medieval atmosphere.

The clock tower made up the centre of the village and was very scenic.

We then happened across another village (it might have been called Carnnac though they are so mixed in my head I am not sure)

It too was stunning and even had a campsite a 2 minute walk from the village, unfortunately it was utterly empty which we found too creepy to stay completely by ourselves.

We enjoyed wandering the village however, taking in the vines and stone walls.

After admiring the lovely shutters on the houses, we continued on.

We found a campsite for the night over a little bridge with the pretty river below.

The local wine we had bought a few villages before was lovely.

So were our desserts.
